Settings

The Settings application provides system configuration for the RMT.

Menu

The settings menu contains the following options:

1. Load at startup — select which application launches automatically when the RMT powers on.
2. Encoder type — configure the encoder stepping mode.
3. Enable / Disable 5V PU — control the 5V power unit.
4. To Main Menu — exit settings.

Load at Startup

Choose the application that will launch automatically when the RMT is powered on. By default, the main menu is shown. You can set any installed application (e.g., MotorPumpDrive, FlowMeter, PPS) to start immediately — useful when the tester is dedicated to a specific task.

The selection is saved to non-volatile memory and persists across reboots.

Encoder Type

Configure the encoder stepping mode to match your hardware:

Mode	Description
Full cycle (4 phase)	Standard quadrature encoding — one step per full detent cycle
Half cycle (2 phase)	Two steps per detent cycle — faster scrolling

The setting is applied immediately and saved to non-volatile memory.

5V Power Unit

Toggle the built-in 5V power unit on or off. When enabled, the current voltage and current readings are displayed:

5V PU enabled
250 mV  500 mA

This is primarily a diagnostic feature for verifying the power supply status of the RMT.
