The connection is made using any USB-UART converter, internally.

warning

Check the connection of the EN/IO pins, as they may vary between different adapters.

Make sure that the adapter is connected (there should be a virtual COM port).

When you click on connect, MultiProg will scan all available COM ports and connect to the ESP controller.
